With its close ties as a resident orchestra, the Altomonte Festival Orchestra St. Florian breathes the spirit of the master Anton Bruckner into the Bruckner Days Festival, which takes place every year in the St. Florian Abbey.
The orchestra receives the highest international attention with exemplary performances of Anton Bruckner’s symphonies under his French conductor Rémy Ballot. These were recorded under the Austrian record label Gramola and won some of the most important awards, including the Diapason d’Or or the Supersonic Award.
